State Accreditation and International Accreditations

Munich Business School is state-accredited and has received the institutional accreditation by the Wissenschaftsrat (Council of Science and Humanities). All academic programs have received a renowned international program accreditation.

State Accreditation

The Munich Business School became the first state accredited private university in Bavaria in 1999. As a result, it offers its services under the supervision of the Bavarian Ministry for Science, Research and the Arts. Its exam regulations are also approved by the Ministry and MBS has the right to award academic titles.

International Accreditation

FIBAA

All study courses offered at MBS are FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) accredited. The FIBAA is one of the six most important international quality and accreditation agencies. Its quality seal of approval certifies the professional relevancy and quality of the study courses.

Accreditation by the Council of Science and Humanities

Wissenschaftsrat

As first university in Bavaria, Munich Business School has received an institutional accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat).

International Memberships: EFMD and AACSB

Munich Business School is a full member of the European Federation of Management Development (EFMD). EFMD is a leading international network in the field of management development and business school advancement and also responsible for issuing the EQUIS and the EPAS accreditations.

Munich Business School is a member of AACSB International – the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB International is a membership association of educational institutions, businesses, not-for-profit and government organizations devoted to the advancement of higher education in business administration and management. Membership does not imply accreditation.
