Trendence Absolventenbarometer 2008: Munich Business School Stays in the Top Group
MBS is ranked first in Bavaria and sixth nationwide with its high quality teaching and exceptional career opportunities.
Seventy-seven universities took part in the survey including almost 10,000 students from business and economics study programs across the country. The annual Trendence Alumni Barometer is the most extensive survey of business and economics students in Germany. This year, Munich Business School again recorded a highly satisfactory result. The overall 6th place in the nationwide ranking for German universities was even surpassed by an overall 4th place in the individual ranking for bachelor programs. The business study program at Munich Business School remains the best in Bavaria, both in terms of the individual results for the various different courses of study, and for the overall result. In the national rankings, Munich Business School was ranked among the top 5 among Germany’s private universities in 8 out of 10 categories.
The qualitative surveys were just as interesting as the rankings. For example, the survey on career entry opportunities for graduates from the various different courses of study. Only 58 per cent of the business students expected to find employ- ment within three months, while at Munich Business School, 90 per cent of the students believed that they would find employment within three months after graduating. About half of the MBS students join a company straight after graduating from the bachelor program. Some also opt for a career integrated masters program, while others opt for a full-time masters program.
