In addition, Munich Business School is supported by private individuals, companies and institutions.

The precise options for supporting Munich Business School are quite diverse. The conditions for donations, sponsoring and other forms of contributions can largely be developed as per the specific ideas and potentials of the supporters. Examples are:

- financial benefits for technical or administrative purposes (e.g. for the advancement of technological equipment, access to databases, equipping the library, and more)
- financial benefits for academic purposes (e. g. financing academic personnel; financing chairs and institutions; financing guest lectures, events and lecture series)

The close cooperation of Munich Business School with many companies has brought about a special form of cooperation. In line with the Preferred-Partner program of Munich Business School, individual arrangements are made between the university and the companies. These provide for the financial support by partners in the industry, and in turn provide them with continuing presentation opportunities with Munich Business School students. In some cases the business representatives are active as teachers from practice. Even the development of specific course content with a topical focus in the scope of the partner company is available.
