U2B - University to Business

u2b

"University to Business", in short U2B e.V., is one of the student initiatives at Munich Business School. The association was founded as a student management consulting firm and currently has 25 members.

The main goal of the initiative is to promote the dialogue and the close collaboration between Munich Business School and the industry, for example through semester work projects with companies. U2B concentrates its activity on three areas: organising lectures and series of lectures, the implementation of consulting assignments as well as organising scientific symposiums.

The members of U2B were recently successful in bringing numerous well-known business representatives to MBS, including Prof. Dr. Péter Horváth, Prof. Roland Berger, Dr. Claus Hipp and Randolf Rodenstock.

students clubbing

students clubbing

students-clubbing e.V. was launched as a student initiative and is operated solely by MBS students. It is made up of students in various semesters who work in multidisciplinary ways and are engaged in volunteer work, simultaneously promoting the social responsibility of the individual.

students-clubbing e.V. is a registered association which has been serving the community since March 2006. Despite its independence it remains a part of MBS and its philosophy, and would therefore like to promote and support developments in the university's culture. Especially the communication of the students among each other as well as with the university is at the fore of its activities. By now students-clubbing e.V. has become a solid entity of MBS and daily university life can hardly be imagined without it.

Divided into 4 categories, the following events for example take place throughout the semesters, intended to provide a balance to daily university life:

  • Clubbing (Welcome Party, Christmas Party, Mid-Term Party, and much more.)
  • Sports (Soccer, Pre-Wintertrophy, Kart-Challenge, etc.)
  • Culture (Late Night of Museums, Late Night of Music)
  • Dinner (Running Dinner, Culinary Journey)

In addition, students-clubbing e.V. is dedicated to the integration of international exchange students which are integrated into all types of events and whom activities are organized for (e.g. scavenger hunt, city tour, ...).

International Buddy Program

The International Buddy Program is a student initiative which supports the International Office as well as the International Programs at MBS.

This new initiative serves as an exchange platform for new international students and current MBS students.

The main goals of the Buddy Program are:

  • To better integrate new international students at Munich Business School by connecting them with current MBS students, or so-called ‘Buddies’
  • An opportunity for current MBS students to be a mentor of and network with international students from partner universities worldwide where they can spend their semester abroad
  • To learn about each other cultures and customs, improve or learn foreign languages, and gain new friends worldwide.
