How to Apply - MBA Health Care Management

Requirements

Basic requirements for attending the MBA Program in Health Care Management are:

  • An above-average first university degree. This can be a diploma, bachelor's or master's degree in any field from a German university or an equivalent international degree.
  • Two years of work experience in health care
  • All candidates must have good command of English; therefore, a minimum TOEFL (IBT) score of 88 points is necessary for enrolment (a minimum of 20 points in each section, a minimum of 22 in Writing). MBS TOEFL Institution Code: 5772. Alternately: IELTS with at least a level of 6.5 - Academic Module. Test results can only be accepted if achieved within the last two years.
    No TOEFL or IELTS is required for English native speakers or applicants with a proof of English speaking schooling or a university degree from an English speaking country.
  • All candidates, who are not Native speakers in German, have to prove their German language proficiency by a proof of German speaking schooling or a university degree from a German speaking country or TestDaF level 4 or higher (alternatively: DSH Certificate 2 or ZMP Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung).

    If you can't get a test date before your interview, you can hand your test results in afterwards until one month before the program start.

Application Process

In addition to the university transcripts and verification of English skills, a complete applications includes

  • a current résumé
  • a letter of motivation presenting the personal reasons for selecting the MBA program Health Care Management at Munich Business School
  • external references who can provide an assessment of the applicant's aptitude for the academic program

After receiving the complete application documents we will invite eligible candidates for a personal interview.

We recommend applying in one of the early rounds. These rounds have no significant difference in regards to the admission quota. In later rounds, in contrast, the selection will presumably be more in the interest of a heterogeneous group configuration, since a bulk of the first-year students has already been determined at this point. However, there will still be sufficient spots available to good applicants.
