What do you like about Munich Business School?

The level of personalization of the services, make it an easy experience to study there. Being MBS up to this point a rather small school with so many people abroad makes it easier to have a more personal attention in every department. This helps to understanding and facilitates the positive outcome for any issue that arises during anyone’s time at MBS.

What do you like about the master program at MBS?

The international approach given by MBS, makes the whole experience completely different experience. The semester abroad, internship abroad and students from all over the globe give an extended understanding of international business. Personally, this was a programme that seemed handmade especially to me.

As a foreigner, to have the opportunity to come, study and live in Germany is a big learning experience, both professional and mostly personal. Furthermore, the programme gives the opportunity to extend this experience beyond Germany by pushing the students to try new countries, new cultures and experiencing these things within different areas (work, school, life, etc.)

What do you like about living and studying in Germany in general and Munich in particular?

Studying and living in Germany gives a real insight into one of the most successful economies in the world and a real business oriented society. To get this insight is an invaluable lesson for any person. Finding through experiencing the reasons that have led Germany to the position they are among every other country and also being able to lively experience the pros and cons of acquiring these features for a personal growth is something worth every minute here.

The best example that can be given is the life in Munich, a very international city, where all these learning’s can be enlarged. The great organization and life standards of the place are something to be seen and deeply analyzed. However, Munich is also a very peculiar place regarding human relationships, which makes it a city with a life style that could represent a big challenge for people with certain characters.

What do you like about your personal contacts here?

Making friends in Germany might not be the easiest task in the world, at least outside your immediate circles. On the other hand, great thing is how reliable people here can be. Also, the community within MBS, where a large portion of the people come from abroad makes the contact list that one can build an impressive and interesting mix of people, personalities and cultures. If one adds up the fact that everyone within this community is in a rather similar situation, the levels of understanding are by nature higher, which simplifies and could even deepen the relationships built here.

How would you describe your overall experience abroad?

Speaking as a Latin American, coming into Europe is always a big chance to live new mindsets, understand differences among cultures, travel as easy as it is within Europe and meeting all kind of interesting people. The lifelong lessons that can be learned here are, as I have already said, invaluable. Getting new perspectives on life and work puts oneself in the position of making the best out of them, bringing the best from home and taking the best from here.

Personally I have assimilated all these to the point of making my mind about the good and bad from each side, trying to keep the best of each one for the next things coming to my life.
