What do you like about Munich Business School (e.g. atmosphere, services, staff…)?

I like the fact that I felt a warm welcome since my first day. I also like the support we receive as foreign exchange students, receiving, for example, Munich city guides, starter tips, and many more.

What do you like about your study program at MBS (e.g. course content, language course, lecturers, teaching methods…)?

I find extremely enriching the fact that we simultaneously have normal university courses like Economics, Finance, etc., and German Language and Culture courses like History, Grammar, and others. This has allowed me, as a student, to improve my German skills significantly and also to absorve the German concepts for my university courses.

What do you like about living and studying in Germany in general and Munich in particular?

I love this city. What I like the most is the high quality of life standards that Munich has, combined with a unique touch of Bavarian culture. The food is great, the beer is magnificent and as a student, I’ve had lots of fun going out and experimenting first-hand the mixture of German and Bavarian spirits that set Munich apart from other German cities. I’m also thrilled with Munich’s great geographic position in Germany, namely how close it lies to the Alps and the border with Austria. Anyone can get on a train and shortly after find oneself on a mountain top, with the breathtaking view of the Alps lining the horizon, and with the skis on, ready to slide down.

What do you like about your personal contacts here (e.g. fellow students, flat mates, friends made in Germany…)

I’ve made many friends while studying in Munich. However, I find that the mixing between international students and the German students needs a little fixing. I now have contacts for future business or leisure purposes in Germany, but not as many as I would have wished for.

How would you describe your overall experience abroad (studying, living, travelling, people etc.)

It has been amazing. I have had the chance to travel to many different cities and countries and to meet so many people of different shapes, colors, sizes and customs. I find this to be truly enriching for my education process as a university student. That’s what I consider my most valuable acquired asset during this experience.
