What do you like about Munich Business School (e.g. atmosphere, services, staff…)?

What struck me immediately about Munich Business School is the individual attention each student receives.  Coming from my home university, which has tens of thousands of students, it was a refreshing and welcome change to be able to have more personal interaction with the students in my program as well as with professors and the other staff.

What do you like about your study program at MBS (e.g. course content, language course, lecturers, teaching methods…)?

Our program is fortunate to have professors and instructors with practical, real-world experience in the areas in which they were teaching.  No one can teach a subject better than someone with experience in the field, and that kind of transfer of know-how is exactly what you get at Munich Business School.

What do you like about living and studying in Germany in general and Munich in particular?

Germany, for me, is the perfect location to study abroad in that it allowed me to experience a new country and culture first-hand, but still stayed within the comforts of a familiar language.

Munich is a large, but very manageable, and culturally attractive city.  What drew me to Munich in the first place, and what continues to intrigue me about the city, is its rich history and friendly atmosphere and people.  It has an excellent geographical location for departure on day or weekend trips throughout beautiful Bavaria, as well as the rest of Europe.

What do you like about your personal contacts here (e.g. fellow students, flat mates, friends made in Germany…)

I have found the people here in Germany to be very welcoming.  Munich itself is truly an international city, and its people are friendly and seem accepting of all walks of life.  Building relationships with the students in my program has been a rewarding experience, and I will leave here with a much better understanding of and appreciation for other cultures.

How would you describe your overall experience abroad (studying, living, travelling, people etc.)

My overall experience abroad has been fun, educational, and very rewarding.  Improving my German language skills, making new friends, and gaining a broader view on the world and its people are only a few of the very important things I will walk away from this experience with.  I have, most importantly, gained a renewed sense of self from my time abroad.  By meeting and getting to know new people from many different cultures while at the same time being living in a foreign land with a different language and culture from my own, I have really had to figure out who I am in order to get the most from this experience.
