Prof. Dr. Stefan Baldi, Dekan der MBS: "Welcome Speech" (englisch)

Nicolas Stahlhofer, Master Alumnus MBS: "Conscious Business - creating purpose-driven organizations" (englisch)
We live in an era of exponential change, rapid transformation and increasing connectivity. For decades, decisions in business were driven by gut feeling as a result of information scarcity. Today, information is abundant and enriched by artificial intelligence and various other tools. Nevertheless, being human means being irrational - for a good reason.
Businesses are defined by the people that drive them and the problems they solve. In a world full of complex challenges and opportunities, business as usual doesn’t work anymore. Our consciousness is our operating system and decides how we perceive the world around and inside of us.
Conscious businesses are based on humanity and their deeply rooted purpose to create a greater good. Explore a new paradigm in business and learn what your consciousness has to do with the impact you can create.
Prof. Dr. Barbara Scheck, Studiengangsleiterin MBA: "Social Entrepreneurship" (englisch)
Social entrepreneurship is experiencing increasing momentum recently, motivated amongst others by the desire of dedicated social entrepreneurs to create a better and more just society.
Prof. Dr. Scheck will introduce participants to the history, theory and emerging activities of social entrepreneurship around the world. Get to know the phenomenon of social entrepreneurship, understand the role of social entrepreneurs as drivers of change and be inspired by social business models.
Prof. Dr. Heiko Seif, Studiengangsleiter DBA: "Digitalization in the German Industry - Insights of latest MBS Research projects" (englisch)
Prof. Dr. Heiko Seif, Professor for International Management and Vice Dean for Research at Munich Business School, will present insights of the latest MBS research projects, which focus on digitalization in the German industry. Amongst others, he will touch topics such as the new principles in production through industry 4.0 and the industrial internet of things, the impact of digitization on business models, and the latest examples of digital applications in the field of industry 4.0.
Prof. Dr. David Wagner, Studiengangsleiter Master SBC: "The building blocks of digital transformation" (englisch)
Digital transformation is currently a hot topic in both research and practice. Digital transformation can be described as major organizational change that impacts performance and value creation of firms. However, many organizations struggle to make sense of and appropriate new technologies. In his talk, Prof. David Wagner will introduce the five domains of digital transformation: customers, competition, data, innovation and value. The talk is an excerpt of his MBS course on Digital Transformation. He will also share insights from his own research in this field.
