In this course you will learn to use Microsoft Power BI for data modeling, determination of key figures, interactive visualization and for mobile dashboarding. Learn how Power BI can be used for the spontaneous visualization of distribution and HR data and how potential foreknowledge of Excel Power Query and Excel Power Pivot can be used intensively and even expanded. On the basis of the knowledge acquired in the course, you have the opportunity to implement the new knowledge in your company in the course of your own project. You create your report "masterpiece" and submit it as a final thesis for the course. In the Reporting Power Camp, a jury consisting of representatives from the Controller Institute, business practice and research will evaluate your work. You will benefit from feedback, tips and further coaching and, if your assessment is positive, you will receive a diploma as a Certified Reporting Professional.

Structure and contents


  • You will create a sample report based on the technical and conceptual knowledge you have gained in the course. For this purpose, you can further develop existing reports in your company or design a new one.
  • The report will be submitted to the jury of the Controller Institute before the Power Camp.
