{"id":10968,"date":"2018-12-19T14:55:40","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T13:55:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/?p=10968"},"modified":"2021-10-29T12:40:27","modified_gmt":"2021-10-29T10:40:27","slug":"youre-never-too-young-to-develop-entrepreneurial-thinking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/en\/2018\/youre-never-too-young-to-develop-entrepreneurial-thinking\/","title":{"rendered":"You&#8217;re Never Too Young to Develop Entrepreneurial Thinking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday, December 14, 2018, people all across the UK celebrated <a href=\"https:\/\/christmasjumperday.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jumper Day<\/a> \u2013 donning Christmas jumpers and donating for a good cause: to support children in need.<\/p>\n<p>One of them was MBS Professor Christopher Weilage, who visited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acs-schools.com\/acs-egham\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACS Egham International School<\/a>, located on the Western outskirts of London, UK, to present his experiences of being an entrepreneur to the students \u2013 while wearing a &#8222;pretty&#8220; Christmas jumper, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his audience being just between 10 and 12 years old, Chris&#8217;presentation on &#8222;Start-Up Experiences, Steps for Success&#8220; was a perfect match to the pupils&#8216; current unit studies, where they have to develop a business idea, conduct market research, and plan basic financials.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/MBS-sjd-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10969\" src=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/MBS-sjd-2.jpg\" alt=\"MBS Jumper Day 2018\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/MBS-sjd-2.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/MBS-sjd-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/MBS-sjd-2-678x381.jpg 678w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;It was a fun day as we talked about what makes for a unique idea, how to find customers, what the key steps in establishing a business are, and when to exit the business.
