M\u00e4rz pr\u00e4sentierten die beiden MBS-Professorinnen Dr. Patricia Kraft und Dr. Ellen Schmid sowie MBA-Studentin Giulia De Anna beim ersten Beyond Border Talk des Frauennetzwerks Mission Female die Ergebnisse der aktuellen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.missionfemale.com\/res\/Beyond_Borders_Study_MissionFemale_MBS.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Studie &#8222;International Female Leaders and Their Way to the Top&#8220;<\/a>. Damit reihte sich die Munich Business School im Rahmen ihrer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/mbs\/hochschule\/womenatmbs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women-in-Leadership-Initiative<\/a> in die weltweiten Aktionen zum Internationalen Frauentag ein, der j\u00e4hrlich am 8. M\u00e4rz begangen wird, um auf Frauenrechte und die (fehlende) Gleichberechtigung der Geschlechter aufmerksam zu machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Rahmen ihrer Masterarbeit kollaborierte Giulia De Anna, die sich bereits seit mehreren Jahren f\u00fcr die Dimensionen der Diversit\u00e4t interessiert und diesen Themenkomplex auch in ihrer Abschlussarbeit adressieren wollte, mit Mission Female. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.missionfemale.com\/#mission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mission Female<\/a> ist ein deutschlandweites Karrierenetzwerk f\u00fcr Frauen mit \u00fcber 70 Mitgliedern, das es sich zur Aufgabe macht, die Karrierechancen von Frauen zu verbessern, die Sichtbarkeit von Erfolgsfrauen zu erh\u00f6hen und Frauen branchen\u00fcbergreifend im gemeinsamen Austausch pers\u00f6nlich und beruflich weiterzuentwickeln. Gemeinsam mit Mission Female identifizierten Giulia de Anna, Prof. Dr. Patricia Kraft und Prof. Dr. Ellen Schmid drei L\u00e4nder als Untersuchungsgegenstand f\u00fcr die zentrale Studienfrage &#8222;Was sind Barrieren und Erfolgsfaktoren f\u00fcr weibliche F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte?&#8220;: die USA, Schweden und die Niederlande. Die Auswahl liegt darin begr\u00fcndet, dass in allen drei L\u00e4ndern unterschiedliche historische, strukturelle, organisatorische und gesellschaftliche Rahmenbedingungen vorherrschen, was beispielsweise den prozentuellen  Anteil von Frauen in Vorstandspositionen oder die Existenz von Quoten und Betreuungsangeboten betrifft, und somit auch unterschiedliche Erfolgsfaktoren und Hindernisse vermutet werden konnten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Giulia de Anna f\u00fchrte zw\u00f6lf qualitative Interviews mit weiblichen F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4ften verschiedener Branchen aus den genannten L\u00e4ndern. Alle F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte waren im oberen und obersten Management t\u00e4tig und verf\u00fcgten im Durchschnitt \u00fcber 25 Jahre Berufserfahrung. Die Antworten aus dem offenen Fragesetting kategorisierte Giulia De Anna hinsichtlich vier verschiedener Faktoren, die laut vorausgehender Forschung sowohl Barrieren als auch Erfolgsfaktoren darstellen k\u00f6nnen: individuelle, zwischenmenschliche, organisationsbezogene und gesellschaftliche Faktoren. Die Ergebnisse der Studie sind \u00fcberraschend. Trotz der Diversit\u00e4t der ausgew\u00e4hlten L\u00e4nder konnte die Studie zeigen, dass die Erfolgsfaktoren und Hindernisse in allen drei L\u00e4ndern identisch wahrgenommen werden. L\u00e4nder\u00fcbergreifend werden interpersonelle und individuelle Faktoren wie bspw. das Vorhandensein von Netzwerken, Mentor*innen oder auch Selbstbewusstsein als Erfolgsfaktoren identifiziert, w\u00e4hrend gesellschaftliche und organisatorische Faktoren hier nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen. Hinsichtlich der Barrieren zeigt sich jedoch genau das umgekehrte Bild: Hier werden organisatorische und gesellschaftliche Faktoren, d.h. Vorurteile, Stereotypen und Quoten, als die gr\u00f6\u00dften &#8211; meist unsichtbaren &#8211; H\u00fcrden empfunden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr die Forscherinnen ist dies ein tolles Ergebnis: Anstatt die organisatorischen und gesellschaftlichen Barrieren zu bedauern, sollte man sich ihrer Meinung nach viel mehr auf die Erfolgsfaktoren fokussieren. Gerade die individuellen und interpersonellen Faktoren seien es, die man mit Coaching- und Netzwerkaktivit\u00e4ten gezielt weiter f\u00f6rdern k\u00f6nne, w\u00e4hrend  der Umbruch organisationsbezogener und gesellschaftlicher Strukturen h\u00e4ufig mehr Zeit beanspruche. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach dem kurzen Studieneinblick er\u00f6ffnete Frederike Probert, CEO von Mission Female und Moderatorin des ersten Beyond Border Talks, die Diskussionsrunde und startete direkt mit der zugespitzten Frage, ob die Studienergebnisse nun valide f\u00fcr die ganze Welt seien. Aufgrund der kleinen und auf L\u00e4nder mit westlichem Lebensstandard fokussierten Stichprobe m\u00fcsse dies nat\u00fcrlich verneint werden, wenngleich die Studie zeige, dass das h\u00e4ufig angebrachte Argument &#8222;Wir k\u00f6nnen unsere Situation nicht mit der der Frauen in Land xyz vergleichen.&#8220; nicht zweifelsohne gelte, erl\u00e4uterten Prof. Dr. Patricia Kraft, Prof. Dr. Ellen Schmid und Giulia De Anna. Viele der Zuh\u00f6rer*innen &#8211; darunter im \u00dcbrigen auch viele M\u00e4nner &#8211; zeigten sich an einer Fortf\u00fchrung der Studie interessiert und schlugen diverse weitere L\u00e4nder, beispielsweise China, Indien, Kanada, Mexiko, Kolumbien oder die Schweiz, als Untersuchungsgrundlage vor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Abend schloss mit einer Sammlung pers\u00f6nlicher Erfolgsfaktoren der Teilnehmer*innen, darunter Chancen einfordern, sich sichtbar machen und an seine eigenen Kompetenzen glauben, Unterst\u00fctzer*innen im eigenen Unternehmen sowie au\u00dferhalb haben, selbst als Vorbild fungieren und aus der eigenen Komfortzone heraustreten und immer wieder der Aufbau von Beziehungen.
