Heute an der Reihe ist Prof. Dr. Florian Bartholomae, Professor f\u00fcr Volkswirtschaftslehre an der Munich Business School sowie Trainer im\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/executive-education\/certified-strategy-manager\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lehrgang Certified Strategy Manager<\/a> f\u00fcr das Modul Spieltheorie.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MBS Insights: Professor Bartholomae, an welchen spannenden Forschungsprojekten arbeiten Sie gerade?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Florian Bartholomae: Momentan verfolge ich zwei Projekte. Zum einen besch\u00e4ftige ich mich mit den (\u00f6konomischen) Auswirkungen der Digitalisierung. Hierbei interessiert mich etwa, unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen diese f\u00fcr Unternehmen bzw. den Wettbewerb vorteilhaft ist. Betrachtet man vor allem den Kosteneinsparungseffekt von Digitalisierung sehen sich eigentlich alle Unternehmen einem Digitalisierungsdruck ausgesetzt \u2013 dieser kann sich am Ende aber negativ auf die Firmen auswirken, wenn die Initialkosten der Digitalisierung durch den resultierenden st\u00e4rkeren Wettbewerb nicht kompensiert werden k\u00f6nnen. Ein zweiter Aspekt ist, ob und wie sich traditionelle Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle durch neue Technologien wie den 3D-Druck \u00e4ndern k\u00f6nnen \u2013 auch hier ist nicht wirklich klar, ob Unternehmen durch das Outsourcing der Produktion an die Konsument*innen am Ende profitieren.<br>Das zweite gro\u00dfe Projekt ist die Analyse der Coronapandemie bzw. der (politischen) Ma\u00dfnahmen zu ihrer Eind\u00e4mmung. Hierzu haben meine MBS-Kollegin Prof. Dr. Eva Stumpfegger und ich k\u00fcrzlich eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cesifo.org\/de\/publikationen\/2021\/aufsatz-zeitschrift\/government-interventions-during-coronavirus-pandemic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Analyse im CESifo Forum<\/a> publiziert. Darin besch\u00e4ftigen wir uns insbesondere mit der Zielgerichtetheit der Ma\u00dfnahmen und den grunds\u00e4tzlichen Aufgaben des Staates in dieser Krise. Auch hier zeigt sich ein sehr ambivalentes Bild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MBS Insights:<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Wo sehen Sie den Mehrwert Ihrer Forschung f\u00fcr die Studierenden?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Florian Bartholomae: Den Mehrwert sehe ich in der F\u00f6rderung von kritischem Denken. Viele sehen gerade VWL-Themen als abstrakt und eher praxisfern an. Am Ende dienen die theoretischen Modelle \u2013 die aber allesamt ihre Urspr\u00fcnge in der Beobachtung realer Ph\u00e4nomene haben \u2013 jedoch dazu, das Denken zu schulen und zu strukturieren, um schlie\u00dflich Zusammenh\u00e4nge besser erfassen zu k\u00f6nnen. In einer globalisierten und immer komplexer werdenden Welt mit riesigen Herausforderungen, wie der Sicherstellung eines gleichberechtigten Zugangs aller Menschen zu Ressourcen oder der Bek\u00e4mpfung von bzw. Anpassung an den Klimawandel ist es wichtig, die Konsequenzen von Handlungen absch\u00e4tzen zu k\u00f6nnen. Sehr oft werden aber nur die Vor- oder die Nachteile einer Handlung gesehen. Resultate sind aber immer ambivalent, man muss daher immer das ganze Bild betrachten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MBS Insights: Und<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>wie profitiert die Praxis davon?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Dr. Florian Bartholomae: Die Praxis profitiert von einer umfassenden Betrachtung der Effekte. Aber auch worauf zu achten ist. Grundlage vieler meiner Projekte ist etwa die Spieltheorie, die dazu verwendet wird, Handlungen anderer Akteure abzusch\u00e4tzen. Die Ergebnisse vieler Entscheidungen h\u00e4ngen letztlich immer von den Aktionen anderer ab: Welchen Einfluss hat meine Digitalisierungsentscheidung auf meine Wettbewerbssituation, wenn die Konkurrenz auch digitalisiert? Welchen Einfluss hat ein Berufsaus\u00fcbungsverbot zur Pandemiebek\u00e4mpfung auf die Wirtschaftsstruktur?
