Die Zeit, in der in Deutschland traditionell der Osterhase bunte Eier und kleine Geschenke an allen m\u00f6glichen Pl\u00e4tzen versteckt. Besonders Kinder freuen sich dann sehr, wenn sie sich auf die Suche begeben, und sind voller Freude, wenn sie alle Verstecke gefunden haben. Suchen macht Spa\u00df!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Wirtschaftsalltag ist dies allerdings nicht unbedingt der Fall. Denn f\u00fcr Unternehmen bedeutet es nicht wirklich Spa\u00df, wenn sie auf der Suche sind \u2013 sei es nach neuen Gesch\u00e4ftsideen, Absatzm\u00e4rkten, Zulieferern oder \u2013 immer akuter \u2013 nach geeigneten Arbeitskr\u00e4ften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die mit der Suche verbunden Kosten sind Teil der sogenannten Transaktionskosten, die im Zuge der \u00dcbertragung von Verf\u00fcgungsrechten entstehen und damit unabh\u00e4ngig von der Produktion anfallen. Eine solche Suche kann erhebliche Mengen an Ressourcen binden und sogar deutlich teurer als die eigentliche Produktion der G\u00fcter sein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Viele Unternehmen haben dieses Problem erkannt und \u00fcbernehmen die Suche f\u00fcr andere. Sie produzieren also nichts selbst, sondern sind sogenannte Intermedi\u00e4re, die Angebot und Nachfrage zusammenbringen. Ein Intermedi\u00e4r, den wir fast t\u00e4glich aufsuchen, ist der Supermarkt \u2013 wenn wir etwa Lebensmittel ben\u00f6tigen, m\u00fcssen wir nicht erst herausfinden, was wo produziert wird, sondern k\u00f6nnen einfach in den Supermarkt gehen und finden alle wichtigen Produkte an einem Ort. Auch f\u00fcr die Produzenten ist dies von Vorteil, da sie nicht selbst nach Kunden suchen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Supermarkt ist damit ein <em>market maker<\/em>, der einen Markt schafft, an dem sich Angebot und Nachfrage treffen k\u00f6nnen. Eine andere Funktion ist die des <em>match makers<\/em>, also des Zusammenbringens geeigneter Partner \u2013 wer hier an Dating-Plattformen denkt, liegt nicht falsch, denn auch hier werden Suchende zusammengebracht und im Idealfall gematcht. Aber auch Arbeitsvermittlungsagenturen stellen diese Funktion sicher. Gerade viele sehr erfolgreiche Internetfirmen sind Intermedi\u00e4re: Airbnb, eBay oder Uber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intermedi\u00e4re helfen, Suchkosten zu reduzieren und verfolgen damit genau das gegenteilige Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell des Osterhasen. Vielleicht sollte der Osterhase als Versteck-Experte im Rest des Jahres sein Wissen den Unternehmen zur Verf\u00fcgung stellen und sie beim Finden unterst\u00fctzen! Oder vielleicht verfolgt der Osterhase ein anders Ziel: Uns alle auf die vielen Suchen vorzubereiten, die uns bevorstehen!
