{"id":22207,"date":"2024-03-22T09:33:48","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T08:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/?p=22207"},"modified":"2024-04-04T10:30:40","modified_gmt":"2024-04-04T08:30:40","slug":"jesus-verbesserung-zu-ostern","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/2024\/jesus-verbesserung-zu-ostern\/","title":{"rendered":"Jesus-Verbesserung zu Ostern"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Wie in jeder Disziplin gibt es auch \u00fcber bzw. in der VWL (Volkswirtschaftslehre) Witze, die f\u00fcr Au\u00dfenstehende nicht ganz nachvollziehbar sind. Einer davon ist die Frage: \u201eWir alle wissen, was eine Pareto-Verbesserung ist. Was ist dann eine Jesus-Verbesserung?\u201c <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Nun, nat\u00fcrlich wissen wir alle (jetzt) noch nicht, was eine Pareto-Verbesserung ist. Zudem stellt sich die Frage, was das mit Jesus zu tun haben k\u00f6nnte und was der konkrete Bezug zum bevorstehenden Osterfest sein k\u00f6nnte. Das wollen wir uns nun genauer anschauen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginnen wir mit dem Pareto-Kriterium. Das ist ein Konzept, das dazu dient, verschiedene Endzust\u00e4nde, die oftmals das Ergebnis wirtschaftspolitischer Ma\u00dfnahmen folgen, miteinander bzw. mit einer Ausgangssituation vergleichbar zu machen. Schauen wir uns folgendes Osterbeispiel an: Alice und Bob haben 10 Eier gefunden. Es gibt noch 4 Eier, die nicht gefunden wurden und nun unter beiden aufgeteilt werden sollen. Drei Aufteilungsmechanismen stehen zur Verf\u00fcgung: Beide erhalten jeweils 2 Eier, Alice erh\u00e4lt alle 4 und Bob keines oder Bob bekommt 5 Eier, wof\u00fcr Alice 1 Ei abgeben muss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td><strong>Alice<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Bob<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Status Quo<\/td><td>10<\/td><td>10<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Aufteilung 1<\/td><td>12<\/td><td>12<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Aufteilung 2<\/td><td>14<\/td><td>10<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Aufteilung 3<\/td><td>9<\/td><td>15<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Bild1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22213\" style=\"width:369px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Eine Pareto-Verbesserung liegt dann vor, wenn mindestens ein Individuum bessergestellt werden kann, ohne ein anderes schlechter zu stellen. Ausgehend vom Status Quo w\u00e4ren damit Aufteilungen 1 und 2 eine Pareto-Verbesserung und wir k\u00f6nnten ihre Durchf\u00fchrung empfehlen: Bei 1 erhalten beide mehr und bei 2 wird Alice bessergestellt, w\u00e4hrend es Bob gleich gut geht. Bei Aufteilung 3 erh\u00e4lt Bob zwar mehr, aber Alice hat weniger, sodass keine Pareto-Verbesserung vorliegt. Es liegt aber auch nicht das Gegenteil, eine Pareto-Verschlechterung vor, da Alice zwar weniger, aber Bob mehr hat. Wir k\u00f6nnen damit den Status Quo nicht mit Aufteilung 3 nicht mithilfe des Pareto-Kriteriums vergleichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Warum brauchen wir ein solches Kriterium? Eine wichtige Anwendung ist die Beurteilung wirtschaftspolitischer Eingriffe, also die Beantwortung der Frage, ob eine bestimmte Ma\u00dfnahme durchgef\u00fchrt werden soll. Das Pareto-Kriterium ist hier aber oftmals nicht praktikabel, da es sehr strikt ist \u2013 insofern, dass sich niemand schlechter stellen darf. Eine bessere Methode ist das potentielle Pareto-Kriterium (bzw. Kaldor-Hicks-Kriterium), wonach eine Ma\u00dfnahme durchgef\u00fchrt werden sollte, wenn die Gewinner die Verlierer potentiell kompensieren k\u00f6nnten \u2013 konkret m\u00fcssen sie es aber nicht tun. Hierunter w\u00e4re auch Aufteilung 3 w\u00e4hlbar, da Bob etwas von seinem Vorteil an Alice abgeben k\u00f6nnte und trotzdem beide bessergestellt w\u00e4ren. In der Wirtschaftspolitik ist dies ein sinnvolles Bewertungskriterium, da oftmals viele unterschiedliche Eingriffe erfolgen. W\u00e4hrend man von einigen positiv betroffen ist, k\u00f6nnen andere eine negative Wirkung entfalten. Wichtig w\u00e4re dann aber, dass am Ende ein positiver Netto-Effekt (auf gesellschaftlicher Ebene) resultiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was hat das mit Jesus zu tun? Durch seinen Opfertod am Karfreitag erm\u00f6glichte Jesus den Menschen, selbst in den Himmel kommen zu k\u00f6nnen. Eine Jesus-Verbesserung w\u00e4re somit, dass ein Individuum extrem schlecht gestellt wird, alle anderen aber besser \u2013 in gewisser Hinsicht also eine Extrem-Form des potentiellen Pareto-Kriteriums. Gl\u00fccklicherweise hat das Osterfest selbst aber eine deutlich bessere Botschaft: Jesus ist drei Tage sp\u00e4ter wieder von den Toten auferstanden, sodass es nur eine zeitweise Verschlechterung war. Am Ende k\u00f6nnte es dann also doch eine Pareto-Verbesserung sein.
