Schnell mal nachschauen\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Menschen, die auf Displays starren, sind die Regel in U-Bahnen, Z\u00fcgen, Warteschlangen, im Restaurant, alleine und zu zweit, \u00fcberall \u2013 und eben auch in H\u00f6rs\u00e4len und Seminarr\u00e4umen. &#8222;Mensch und Smartphone passen einfach verdammt gut zusammen. Als h\u00e4tten wir uns jahrhundertelang nach dieser Symbiose gesehnt, dient uns das Ger\u00e4t als Kr\u00fccke zum Ausgleich menschlicher Gebrechen wie Vergesslichkeit (Fotosammlung), Denkfaulheit (Google), Sch\u00fcchternheit (Facebook, Mails, SMS). Als tragbare Spielh\u00f6lle, Disco, Videothek hat es die Langeweile abgeschafft, auf dem Ger\u00e4t flie\u00dft unser gesamtes Privat- und Berufsleben zusammen \u2013 kein Wunder, dass wir es kaum noch aus der Hand legen.&#8220;\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zwischen Pr\u00e4senz und virtueller Realit\u00e4t<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mit dem Smartphone verschwimmen die Grenzen von Zeit und Raum: Wir sind zwar da, physisch, aber unsere Aufmerksamkeit springt st\u00e4ndig hin und her. Nimmt unser Gegen\u00fcber uns \u00fcberhaupt wahr? Wir sind uns dessen nicht mehr sicher, da die Konzentration ununterbrochen oszilliert zwischen Pr\u00e4senz und virtueller Realit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p>Wie die Studentin, die soeben vorgetragen hat, wie sich ihre Gruppe eine Fragestellung zum Gebrauch mobiler Kommunikationsger\u00e4te vorstellt; die, sobald ich zu einer Antwort ansetze, bereits wieder in ihr mobiles Endger\u00e4t vertieft ist. Wie der Radfahrer, der in Schlangenlinie vor mir herf\u00e4hrt und nur knapp den Laternenmast verfehlt: Er ist in seine Smartphone-Welt eingetaucht, zus\u00e4tzlich akustisch abgeschirmt durch riesige Kopfh\u00f6rer.<\/p>\n<p>Abwehrreaktionen reichen von Verwirrung \u2013 h\u00f6rt mir der andere nun zu oder nicht? \u2013 bis zu Ver\u00e4rgerung wegen des &#8222;Phubbings&#8220; (von \u201ePhone\u201c und \u201eStubbing\u201c, vor den Kopf sto\u00dfen). Die Warnungen vor &#8222;Missbrauch&#8220; oder exzessiver Nutzung mobiler Endger\u00e4te reichen von &#8222;digitaler Demenz&#8220;\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> \u00fcber Konzentrationsst\u00f6rungen und Leistungsschw\u00e4che infolge von Multitasking\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a> bis hin zu Depressionen, Angstzust\u00e4nden und Schlafst\u00f6rungen\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>, gar einem regelrechten Suchtpotenzial.<\/p>\n<p>Als Werkzeug der Gesch\u00e4ftigkeit, die dem Zeitgeist entspricht, sind mobile Endger\u00e4te stets zur Hand, um aufkeimender Langeweile den Boden zu entziehen, Leere zu vermeiden, jeglichen freien Raum zu f\u00fcllen. Diese Form von Gesch\u00e4ftigkeit kann eine &#8222;manische Abwehr&#8220;\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a> darstellen, Leere und Langeweile k\u00f6nnen dann nicht mehr genutzt werden, um die eigene Welt, die eigenen Gedanken, die eigene Befindlichkeit wahrzunehmen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>St\u00e4ndig erreichbar, st\u00e4ndig online<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nach einer Studie der Techniker Krankenkasse sind im Durchschnitt 87 Prozent der 18- bis 25-J\u00e4hrigen st\u00e4ndig erreichbar, st\u00e4ndig online\u00a0<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>, was bedeutet: Sie vergewissern sich in sehr kurzen Zeitabst\u00e4nden \u00fcber den gesamten Tag hinweg, ob wieder eine Nachricht eingetroffen ist, und unterbrechen daf\u00fcr jegliche T\u00e4tigkeit.<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.munich-business-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/MBS-Blog-Smartphone-TK.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-1618\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.munich-business-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/MBS-Blog-Smartphone-TK-1024x896.jpg\" alt=\"MBS-Blog-Smartphone-TK\" width=\"1024\" height=\"896\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>G<em>rafik: <span class=\"st\">\u00a9<\/span> Techniker Krankenkasse<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Die Klagen aufgrund von Stress durch Informations- und Reiz\u00fcberflutung und st\u00e4ndige Unterbrechungen (und die dadurch bedingten Erkrankungen) h\u00e4ufen sich, obwohl wir im Falle von Smartphones diese Unterbrechungen und auch die Informationsflut bereitwillig selbst provozieren, indem wir st\u00e4ndig pr\u00fcfen, ob in den letzten Minuten wieder etwas passiert ist in der Cyberwelt.<\/p>\n<p>Ratschl\u00e4ge zur Stressreduzierung und Entspannung k\u00f6nnen darum auch als ein Pl\u00e4doyer f\u00fcr mehr Leere verstanden werden: Spazierengehen, Atem\u00fcbungen, Meditation, Achtsamkeitstraining, Nichtstun \u2013 all dies dient dazu, das Hier und Jetzt wahrzunehmen und eben keine Aktivit\u00e4ten zu forcieren. Das \u201eAbschalten\u201c kann getrost w\u00f6rtlich genommen werden: Es bedeutet Auszeiten nehmen, auch f\u00fcr die Ger\u00e4te, auch f\u00fcr das Smartphone. &#8222;The most effective executives are those who can both act and reflect \u2013 which means making time to do nothing.&#8220;<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a> Wir brauchen die Leere, in der sich Gedanken, Kreativit\u00e4t, Intuition entfalten k\u00f6nnen.
