Februar war Heike Schneider, MBA General Management Alumna der MBS und heute Client Partner Global Marketing Solutions bei Facebook, zu Gast an der Munich Business School. Im Rahmen von zwei Veranstaltungen stellte sie das Unternehmen vor und erl\u00e4uterte dessen Zielsetzung: \u201eFacebook wurde 2004 gegr\u00fcndet und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Menschen die M\u00f6glichkeit zu geben, Gemeinschaften zu bilden und die Welt n\u00e4her zusammen zu bringen. Die Menschen verwenden Facebook, um mit Freunden und Menschen in Verbindung zu bleiben, zu erfahren, was auf der Welt los ist und Inhalte zu teilen, die ihnen wichtig sind.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Digitale Vermittlungsplattformen wie Facebook sind deshalb so erfolgreich, weil es ihnen gelingt, beliebig viele Interessenten zeitnah und ortsunabh\u00e4ngig zusammenzubringen. Dieses \u00f6konomische Grundprinzip der Digitalisierung, die Hebel der Vernetzung exponentiell zu nutzen, hat Facebook in den letzten Jahren genutzt, um immer mehr Menschen zu Nutzern ihrer jeweiligen Plattformen zu machen.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9139\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9139\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9139 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-2.jpg\" alt=\"MBS Facebook Heike Schneider \" width=\"1024\" height=\"458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-2.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-2-300x134.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9139\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Facebook: Grundprinzip der Digitalisierung \u2013 exponentielle Vernetzung.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/workplace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Workplace by Facebook<\/a> tritt das Unternehmen in der Zwischenzeit auch auf dem B2B- Markt auf. Sehr verallgemeinert ist Workplace by Facebook ein unternehmensinternes Facebook, mit komplett eigenem Newsfeed, Chat, Gruppen und auch einem eigenen Profil. Es gibt Mitarbeitern im eigenen Unternehmen die M\u00f6glichkeit, einfach zu kommunizieren, egal ob am Desktop-PC oder am Smartphone. Es geht u.a. darum, diese Kommunikation sozialer zu gestalten und den Austausch \u00fcber verschiedene Abteilungen zu erleichtern, um am Ende des Tages beispielsweise Innovationen im eigenen Unternehmen zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>Die offene Diskussion mit den Teilnehmern der Munich Business School deckte ein breites Spektrum an Fragestellungen ab: von der Kampagne einer Studentin mit dem Ziel, eine Community in M\u00fcnchen zu motivieren, die sich an neu zugezogene junge M\u00fctter richtet, bis hin zur General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) \u2013 hierzulande auch als EU-Datenschutzgrundverordnung (DSGVO) bekannt \u2013, die den Umgang von Unternehmen mit den Daten von EU-B\u00fcrgern ma\u00dfgeblich beeinflussen wird.<\/p>\n<h3>Relevanz digitaler Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle in der globalen Wirtschaft<\/h3>\n<p>Nicht nur das Beispiel Facebook macht deutlich, dass es keine offene Frage ist, ob und wann digitale Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle bei den Menschen und bei den Unternehmen ankommen \u2013 sie sind l\u00e4ngst da. Je nach Branche und Unternehmen gibt es unterschiedliche Anst\u00f6\u00dfe f\u00fcr die Digitalisierung. In vielen Unternehmen ist sie vom Markt getrieben und betrifft daher F\u00fchrungskr\u00e4fte in den Bereichen Marketing, Vertrieb und Service.<\/p>\n<p>Insbesondere digitale Vermittlungsplattformen repr\u00e4sentieren das \u00f6konomische Grundprinzip der Digitalisierung, denn diese bringen beliebig viele Interessenten zeitnah und ortsunabh\u00e4ngig zusammen. Weil Plattformunternehmen dabei sehr viel \u00fcber aktuelle Nutzer, deren Informations-, Markenwahl- bzw. Kaufverhalten sowie \u00fcber die Zufriedenheit von Verwendern lernen, \u00fcbernehmen sie daher auch immer mehr und mehr Aufgaben, die bislang im Marketing, im Vertrieb und im Service von Unternehmen angesiedelt waren.<\/p>\n<p>Digitale Plattformgesch\u00e4ftsmodelle haben in den vergangenen Jahren vermehrt an Bedeutung gewonnen. W\u00e4hrend im Jahr 2005 mit Microsoft nur ein Unternehmen dieses Gesch\u00e4ftsmodell verfolgte, sind mit Apple, Alphabet (u.a. Google), Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Tencent und Alibaba sieben der zehn wertvollsten Unternehmen aus Sicht der Kapitalanleger weltweit Vertreter des Plattformgesch\u00e4ftsmodells.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9140\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9140\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9140 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-3.jpg\" alt=\"MBS Facebook Heike Schneider \" width=\"1024\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/MBS-facebook-3-300x112.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9140\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Liste der weltweit zehn Unternehmen mit der jeweils gr\u00f6\u00dften Marktkapitalisierung in den Jahren 1995, 2005 und 2017 im Vergleich.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Diese Form von Veranstaltungen ist nur eine in einer ganzen Reihe, die darauf abzielt, Studierenden die M\u00f6glichkeit zu bieten, die Logik innovativer digitaler Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle nicht nur von der Anwenderseite her kennenzulernen, sondern die Gesch\u00e4ftsmechanik auch zu durchdringen und zu verstehen.<\/p>\n<h3>Die MBS im Zeichen der Digitalisierung<\/h3>\n<p>Die Munich Business School besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit dem Themenkomplex Digitalisierung schon seit einiger Zeit intensiv: Sowohl im Studienprogramm Bachelor International Business als auch im Master International Business bieten wir die Vertiefungsf\u00e4cher &#8222;Internationale Innovation und Digital Business&#8220; bzw. &#8222;Digital Business Management&#8220; an. Im Jahr 2015 startete die Munich Business School das <a href=\"https:\/\/www.munich-business-school.de\/insights\/2015\/die-munich-business-school-startet-das-mbs-connected-vehicle-lab\/\">MBS Connected Vehicle Lab<\/a>, eine Plattform f\u00fcr Wissenschaft, Forschung, Industrie und Dienstleistung. Es dient der Fakult\u00e4t, den Studierenden und Experten aus der Wirtschaft dazu, sich \u00fcber neueste Lern- und Kommunikationsformen zu den Themenbereichen Mobilit\u00e4t der Zukunft auszutauschen.
