Markus Vogelbacher

After a TV journalism traineeship, Markus Vogelbacher was responsible for project management of major projects (operations, finance), group marketing, international business development with various foreign branches and feature film co-productions at the Bavaria Film Group from 1996 to 2014. His filmography includes well over 30 TV and feature film projects. Based on his professional experience, from VFX Producer to Executive Producer, he started his own business "International Film Partners" in 2014. As a shareholder-managing director, he now runs the management consultancy "IFP Entertainment GmbH", the publishing house and conference organizer "Ensider.net GmbH" and the production company "IFP Arena Pictures GmbH".
In addition to his MBA (Master of Business Administration - General Management) from the state-approved private university Diploma, he has proven expertise according to GewO § 34 c, f 2+3 (KAGB or EU-AIFM) and GewO § 139 (WaffG § 94).
Markus Vogelbacher is involved in various non-profit organizations: Medien-Club München (board, treasurer), FKTG Film- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft (former regional board), Deutscher Fachjournalisten Verband, Medianet:Berlin, Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitions.
