About Prof. Dr. Gottfried J. Schäffner

Prof. Dr. Gottfried J. Schäffner, Dipl.-Kfm., studied Business Administration at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg from 1972 to 1977, worked as a research assistant and, after having acquired his doctorate in economics, as a research associate at the department for Industrial Management until 1984. He also is a founding member of the consulting firm tms institut für markt&technik strategien, Nürnberg. Next to his work as a consultant for multi-national companies, he has held executive positions in the business management of medium-sized enterprises.
