Hans Michael Rüdiger hält einen MBA und einen MIM (Master of International Management) von der Thunderbird School of Global Management und der Arizona State University, wo er auch seinen Bachelor in Human Resource Management absolvierte. Anschließend war er als Berater und Manager in internationalen Unternehmen wie Siemens und Honeywell International tätig. Seit 2004 arbeitet er als selbstständiger Unternehmensberater und ist Partner des IKO-Instituts für Interne Kundenorientierung.
Hans Michael Rüdiger verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrungen als Hochschuldozent: Er unterrichtete unter anderem an der University of San Diego, der Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, der Universität Turin, der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt und der Jacobs University Bremen; an der Munich Business School ist er seit 2005 Dozent für Process & Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Management, Strategic Management, Verhandlungstechniken und Business in Emerging Markets – Latin America sowie Cases & Scenarios.
