Munich Business School, together with Prof. Dr. Heiko Seif, takes over the patronage of the Galileo Masters University Challenge, which is organized and carried out by AZO Anwendungszentrum GmbH in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI).

The Galileo Masters University Challenge is an international innovation competition and is aimed at students and research associates who want to develop novel approaches from the aerospace industry, for example in the form of satellite-based applications, in order to place innovations and new business opportunities on the market by means of start-ups.

The competition heightens the exposure and credibility of student innovations on a global level while establishing links to the world of business. The evaluators will focus on creativity and market needs rather than the technological perfection of the business ideas submitted. In doing so, Munich Business School focuses in particular on emerging business opportunities.

People interested can still submit their idea until July 19, 2021. Exciting prizes worth several thousand euros await the most innovative entries, with a choice between a cash prize (€1000), various incubation, consulting, or marketing workshops, or professional mentoring.

In addition to Munich Business School, other selected partners of the university competition are the Alpha Build Institute, Nottingham Geospatial Institute’s business engagement unit GRACE and the Hyper Connected Futures Network (HCFN).
