Declaration of Accessibility

Munich Business School GmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the Verordnung zum Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSGV). This declaration applies to www.munich-business-school.de.

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with BFSG and the BFSGV due to the following incompatibilities or exceptions.

Our products and services can be found, accessed and used by people with disabilities in the generally accepted manner, without particular difficulty and generally without outside assistance.

Description of the service

The Munich Business School website provides information about our international degree programs and enables direct application for a degree program.
Interested parties can find out about content, requirements and career opportunities and start the application process or arrange a personal consultation appointment.
We also offer regular online events, which you can register for conveniently via the website.

Descriptions and explanations needed to understand how the service is provided

Our website offers structured navigation through the various study programs. Each program page contains information on the procedure, content and admission requirements. Users can use online forms to submit applications or book an appointment with our student advisory service. Registration for information events also takes place via an online form. All data is transmitted in encrypted form and processed in accordance with data protection regulations.

Content that is not accessible

The following content is not barrier-free as it does not comply with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

  • There are images without captions on several pages. It is difficult to navigate to the images with screen readers.
  • There are links without link text on several pages.
  • The contrast between text and background is too low on all pages.
  • On several pages there are 'iframe' elements without captions. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult.
  • One page has no language stored in HTML.
  • On some pages, the language stored in HTML does not match the page language.
  • There are form fields without labels on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the form fields is difficult.
  • On some pages there are headings that do not have a label or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible for screen readers.
  • The meta viewport prevents zooming on almost all pages. Deactivating the zoom makes page content more difficult to read for people with visual impairments.
  • There are tables on a page that are not laid out correctly. Not all table data is assigned to table headers. It is not always clear which table content belongs to which table header.
  • On many pages, a superordinate element lacks the appropriate subordinate elements. This can confuse screen reader users, as content is expected but none is present.
  • On some pages, there are elements with the Aria-hidden attribute that can be focused at the same time. As a result, these elements are accessible for assistive technologies, although they should be hidden.
  • There are ARIA buttons, links or menu items on a page without labeling. It is difficult to navigate to these elements with screen readers.
