Your Master's degree in International Business at Munich Business School will take you to your goal in 18 months. You will supplement your concentration in Luxury Management with a further, freely selectable concentration, such as International Marketing. Together with your fellow students, you will work on a real-life business project and learn first-hand about the challenges of the luxury industry. To develop a better understanding of the world of luxury brands, regular excursions take place, such as a visit to the Cartier brand. You will spend the third semester at a university abroad that cooperates with Munich Business School. This gives you the opportunity to gain an international perspective on luxury management and to make further valuable contacts. Afterwards you will write your master thesis.

Academic requirements
You must hold a bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS or over) to enroll on the master’s program in International Business. Applicants with a degree in a business-related subject can start the course directly; applicants without a business degree can qualify for the program by first completing a Pre-Master’s course. We would be happy to review your documents before you apply. Please contact the MBS student advisors for support.

Test results can only be accepted if achieved within the last two years. If you are unable to obtain your test results before handing in your MBS application, please inform us about your planned test date.

LUXURY MANAGEMENT CONCENTRATION IN FIGURES
After completing your studies, you will be able to work in various areas of the luxury sector, such as in the hotel industry, retail or marketing. You will have the opportunity to work in international locations, thereby ensuring your career gets off to a fast start.
As a Marketing Manager for luxury products, you will help companies to advertise and position their brand as effectively as possible. This includes developing a marketing strategy, refining existing marketing concepts and designing communication measures to attract new customers and gain their loyalty.
As a Product Manager in the luxury segment, you will help companies to advertise and sell their products as effectively as possible on national and international markets. This includes taking responsibility for new product launches, creating concepts for individual products and entire ranges, and producing market and competitor analyses.
