To strengthen our team in Munich, we are looking for a

International Student Recruiter (m/f/d, full-time, 40 hours/week) beginning as soon as possible

Your responsibilities:

  • Build and develop a strategic and innovative recruitment network which meets the international student enrollment goals of the university, consisting of – amongst others – agencies and MBS alumni
  • Serve, promote, and represent the university by being the primary point of contact for counselors, agencies etc. primarily in China, India and Eastern Europe
  • Train agencies and give presentations to their inquiry pool
  • Represent the university at international recruitment events, fairs, and conferences
  • Create a comprehensive international marketing strategy utilizing different online marketing channels and marketing materials
  • Help create marketing material useful for international recruitment
  • Serve as a liaison between the Admissions Office, domestic recruiters, various academic units and other organizations within and outside of the university (involves a high level of internal and external public contact)

Your profile:

  • Academic degree (minimum bachelor)
  • Experience in international student recruitment
  • Intercultural experience and sensitivity
  • Team player
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally on your own for longer periods of time
  • You are used to working service-oriented, independently and carefully
  • Strategic further development of international sales along the entire process chain
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; working knowledge of German
  • Work Permit for Germany
  • Based in Munich area
  • You enjoy rethinking things and strive for innovative ways

Your Duties

The versatile range of tasks includes the following areas:

  • Organization and implementation of the application and admission procedure
  • Examination, control and processing of national and international applications, preparation of study contracts
  • Coordination and implementation of admission procedures for specific study programs
  • Participation in the tasks of student advisory services
  • Communication with national and international prospective students and current students
  • Support of the head of the study program in the supervision of international students
  • Close cooperation with other departments

Your Profile

  • You have a commercial education and/or professional experience in a comparable position
  • You enjoy working with people and have a friendly, confident and service-oriented manner
  • You are used to acting independently and work in a structured and careful manner
  • You are IT-affine and have very good MS-Office user knowledge
  • You communicate professionally in German and English, both spoken and written
  • You are flexible and ready for occasional weekend work
  • You enjoy rethinking things and are striving for innovative ways
