Whether for networking, cultural exchange, sports, career advancement, or social engagement, these initiatives offer opportunities to pursue interests, develop new skills, and make valuable contacts.
Involvement in Munich Business School's Student Clubs offers much more than just leisure activities: those who participate gain practical experience in organization, marketing and project management, make valuable contacts with fellow students, alumni and external partners and experience intercultural exchange at first hand. At the same time, important soft skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication can be trained - qualities that are just as much in demand in professional life as they are during your studies.
Munich Business School has a large number of initiatives and clubs that are organized by students themselves. They create space for personal interests, intercultural exchange and joint commitment - from sports and networking to career and consulting projects.
The members of the MBS Career Club have set themselves the goal of actively advancing their careers. The focus is on exchanging ideas on topics such as improving grades, preparing and applying for internships, planning a Master's degree and other career-related issues.
There is a particular focus on mutual support, for example by exchanging contacts or arranging internships for former members by arrangement.

The MBS Chess Club brings together students who enjoy chess, whether they are beginners or experienced players. The club offers a relaxed and social environment to play chess regularly, improve strategic thinking, and meet other students with similar interests. MBS connect is a student-led networking club dedicated to fostering connections among students across all MBS programs. It´s mission is to help members fully leverage the MBS network while enriching student life through collaboration, exchange, and community engagement.
The Consulting Club at Munich Business School empowers students with a tangible, practice-oriented pathway into consulting—especially strategy consulting. Our mission is to make consulting concepts graspable and transferable by building real-world skills through activities like case study workshops and participation in competitions (e.g., at TUM). We enable personal and professional growth by offering networking events and speaker sessions featuring consultants from leading firms. The MBS Investment Club is a student-led initiative that allows participants to apply investment knowledge in a realistic but risk-free environment.
Using a (€100,000) virtual portfolio on a simulated investment app, members learn to analyze markets, evaluate companies, and build strategies across multiple asset classes — from equities and ETFs to crypto and high-risk opportunities.
The club combines monthly meetings, team-based portfolio management, and practical research assignments to foster hands-on financial understanding, teamwork, and analytical communication. We are also open for different ideas and feedback from the students.
We shall meet to both watch and discuss movies, providing a space for students to both learn more on culture and have a mental break from their studies, whilst at the same time fostering a greater community spanning all majors. Some movies will have to do with business, some not, and some will be international movies to grant a greater global perspective. Events will be held on campus to watch the movie in question and discuss it as a group afterwards, or if time is limited watch the movie in our own time and meet to just discuss it. We plan on hosting holiday related events such as for Halloween and Christmas, wherein food and drink will be provided, as well as excursions to local Munich movie theaters to watch new releases in English if offered.

Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, our focus is on teamwork, fun, and staying active. The MBS Sustainability Club connects responsible management education with hands‑on environmental and social action. It is an open platform for all MBS students to explore sustainability challenges, deliver campus solutions, and build responsible leadership skills.
The club improves campus resource efficiency and waste reduction. Members design and run practical sustainability projects, host discussion sessions on sustainable business, and are affiliated with other global university student sustainability organizations: Net Impact (https://www.netimpact.org/) and oikos‑International (oikos‑international.org).
Membership is open to all enrolled MBS students across Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA and Executive programmes. Prof. Dr. Nancy E. Landrum and Prof. Dr. Sophie Hieke serve as faculty advisors.

We also maintain a ranking system similar to the ATP Tennis World Ranking. Members earn MEPs for providing help in Organizing Tournaments and training sessions.
The Venture Hub at Munich Business School is a platform for students interested in startups, technology, and innovation. Our aim is to build practical technological understanding, analyze business models in depth, and develop pitching skills in a professional environment. We combine inspiration with methodological depth and a clear international perspective. In regular sessions, we combine technological deep dives with the analysis of innovative, global startups. The focus is on how technology creates sustainable added value for companies and markets. All content and insights are centrally documented and form a growing knowledge base for all members.
