Dr. Lea Krähahn

Lecturer for Media, Business Communications & Sports Business
Head of Alumni Relations

Dr. Lea Krähahn is a lecturer at Munich Business School, where she has taught since 2014 in the fields of Media, Business Communications, and Sports Business. In the Master's program International Business – Sports Management and Media, she currently teaches and leads the module "Communication Studies and International Media Markets," as well as the course "Business Communications" in the Pre-Bachelor Program. She has also taught on topics including History of Sports Journalism, Media Effects and Audience Research, and Academic Writing and Research Skills.

In addition to her teaching activities, Dr. Krähahn brings extensive practical experience in higher education management. She has been with Munich Business School since 2013 and has held various roles there, including Program Coordinator, Strategic Project Manager, and Vice President for Marketing & Sales. Since 2024, she has served as Head of Alumni Relations, responsible for building and further developing the international MBS Alumni Community.

Dr. Krähahn earned her doctorate in Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University. Her dissertation examined the student experience at private and public universities, investigating the impact of tuition fees on students' expectations and perceptions throughout their studies.

Her academic background is international: alongside her DBA in the United Kingdom, she studied Sports Business and Communication at Munich Business School, Sports Management at the University of New Haven in the USA, and Business Journalism at Edith Cowan University in Australia. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences.
