Dr. Maxim Egorov is an interim professor of Responsible Leadership at Munich Business School, and a postdoctoral researcher at the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin (LEIZ) at Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, as well as at the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich. Dr. Egorov also works as an independent consultant, executive coach and trainer, supporting individuals, companies and scientific organizations in their development and transformation processes. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Management, with a research focus on ethical leadership and leadership development. Dr. Egorov also earned a diploma in psychology from the University of Koblenz-Landau.
His extensive academic career includes roles as a research associate, senior lecturer, leadership trainer and executive coach at the TUM Executive Education Center, University of St. Gallen and further business schools. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Egorov has significant experience in the consulting sector. He was a partner and member of the executive team at Manres AG, Zurich and Berlin, for many years, where he was responsible for the client business. Furthermore, he serves as an editor at the “Personal in Hochschule und Wissenschaft entwickeln” journal. His research has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Business Ethics, encyclopedias and edited books, where he has contributed extensively to the field of ethically-oriented leadership development.
