Meiko Zeppenfeld studied law in Göttingen and London and was awarded a doctorate in international business law in Jena. Until 2011, Zeppenfeld was a partner at Ashurst LLP, one of the major international commercial law firms. As a lawyer and solicitor at the Frankfurt/Main, London and Munich offices, he has advised and represented companies, financial investors and executives in all types of corporate transactions, particularly in the areas of M&A and private equity. He teaches business law at the Munich Business School and the ISM.
In addition, Prof. Zeppenfeld is a partner at Breitmoser Tormyn Wechtenbruch in Munich, where he continues to advise companies and investors on commercial and corporate law issues. Prof. Zeppenfeld is a member of various supervisory boards.
