About The University

Bond University is one of Australia's youngest universities. Founded in the late 1980s as Australia's first private non-profit university, it has set itself the task of offering its students a slightly different study experience: an exclusive education of the highest international standard, where students from all over the world learn in small groups from and with renowned academics and top industry experts.

The Good Universities Guide has named Bond University Australia's best university for student learning experience more than 15 times. No wonder: nowhere else on the continent is there a better student-to-faculty ratio than at Bond University – there are only 11 students per faculty member. Many students rave about the personal attention, helpfulness, and accessibility of the faculty and staff, which makes individualized learning possible. Another special feature of Bond University is the strong practical focus of its programs. In innovative learning environments that mimic the real professional world, students apply their knowledge in practical ways and qualify as sought-after young professionals.

Despite its manageable size, Bond University offers a considerable number of degree programs. From economics, law, and actuarial science to medicine, sports science, architecture, social sciences, and communication sciences, the university covers all subject areas. The Faculty of Business, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship in particular has made a name for itself with its dual international accreditation from AACSB and EQUIS. Bond University uses a unique trimester system with three equivalent study periods per year, allowing you to complete a regular three-year bachelor's degree in just two years or a two-year master's degree in just one and a half years. This fast-track program attracts a particularly large number of international students: of the nearly 6,000 students, about 40% come from abroad.
