About The University

ISC Paris School of Management—ISC Paris for short—is one of France’s best-known private business schools. Founded in 1963 by Paul Icard, it is now an independent, nonprofit educational institution and a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, the exclusive circle of France’s most prestigious universities. What began with a clear vision—to offer students a practice-oriented, internationally focused management education—has grown into a vibrant university with over 2,000 students, a network of more than 18,000 alumni in 80 countries, and 147 partner universities worldwide. ISC Paris’s teaching philosophy is consistently practice-oriented. At its core is the action-learning approach: rather than relying solely on theory, students immediately apply their knowledge in real-world business projects, business games, and case studies. Faculty members from the business world bring current challenges directly into the classroom, and small class sizes foster genuine interaction and learning on an equal footing, rather than anonymous lecture-style instruction.

ISC Paris’s academic offerings are divided into two areas: the ISC Paris Grande École Program, which offers state-recognized bachelor’s and master’s degrees in general business and management, and the ISC Paris Global Programs, which feature specialized international programs. In total, students can choose from 17 master’s specializations and 16 MBA or MSc specializations, ranging from finance and marketing to digital innovation and supply chain management. Many courses are offered in English or are bilingual, making the program accessible even without fluency in French.

What sets ISC Paris apart is its exceptional proximity to the Paris business community. Over 1,200 partner companies—ranging from up-and-coming startups to leading CAC 40 corporations—are actively involved in teaching, career fairs, and the application process. In rankings such as those published by L’Étudiant magazine, ISC Paris consistently ranks at the top in the areas of professional development and career entry. Its location in Paris is an invaluable advantage: approximately 250 of France’s largest companies are headquartered in the metropolitan area. Internship and direct entry opportunities are literally within reach.

Internationality at ISC Paris is not just for show—it is a living reality. With over 300 international students from more than 54 countries, a dedicated program to support international students (COSMOPOL'ISC), and the government’s “Bienvenue en France” seal of approval for particularly welcoming universities, ISC Paris is a choice that opens up global perspectives, both on campus and in the job market.

The ISC Paris Campus

The ISC Paris campus is located in the heart of Paris’s 17th arrondissement: a vibrant neighborhood in the western part of the city that borders directly on the renowned business district of La Défense. Its proximity to France’s most important office and financial district creates direct links between academic studies and the business world. The campus is spread across three buildings in Paris and the neighboring town of Levallois-Perret and comprises approximately 7,000 square meters of modern learning and workspaces.

All seminar and lecture rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including BYOD Wi-Fi, workstations, and video conferencing capabilities. The first building (ISC 1) houses the student-run business organizations (Junior Enterprises), administrative offices, and support services. ISC 2 is the main teaching and event venue, featuring seminar rooms, two large lecture halls, and the ISC Paris Career Center—the heart of career counseling. The focal point of student life is the open “Agora” coworking area on the ground floor: a gathering place for working, discussing, and networking. Finally, ISC 3 brings together the Learning Center, research labs, and the university’s renowned startup incubator.

What makes the campus special is its entrepreneurial spirit. More than 25 offices spread across two floors are reserved exclusively for student initiatives and junior enterprises—a clear sign that entrepreneurship is lived out here from the very beginning. Several metro and bus lines (including Line 3, Pereire stop) extend the campus experience to the rest of the city.

Living and Housing in Paris

There is hardly any other city that captivates as many people around the world as Paris. With around 2.2 million residents in the city center and more than 12 million in the metropolitan area, the capital of France is one of Europe’s largest and most important cities. A cultural capital, fashion hub, culinary wonder, financial center, and cosmopolitan city all in one: Paris is a city where you could spend an entire academic year discovering new things—and it still wouldn’t be enough. Life in Paris unfolds in its distinctive arrondissements. From the historic Marais to the lively Montmartre and the chic Saint-Germain-des-Prés, each neighborhood has its own atmosphere and rhythm. The ISC campus in the 17th arrondissement is located in a quieter, middle-class Parisian neighborhood that is quickly connected to the rest of the city by metro and bus. World-class museums like the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay, lively bistros and cafés, concerts, film festivals, and the simple pleasure of sitting by the banks of the Seine in the evening—all of this is part of everyday life during a semester in Paris.

If you’re looking to travel, Paris is the perfect base: thanks to the Eurostar and numerous direct connections, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Barcelona are all just a few hours away. Paris is an ideal starting point for exploring Europe.

Paris is one of the most expensive cities in Europe. A room in a shared apartment or a small studio in central locations usually costs between 800 and 1,500 € per month. More affordable options can be found in neighborhoods around the campus, such as Levallois-Perret, Clichy, or Courbevoie, all of which are well-connected to the metro network. ISC Paris partners with the housing service Studapart and provides support in finding housing. EU students under the age of 26 can also use the heavily discounted annual transit pass (Carte Imagine R), which allows for unlimited travel throughout the Île-de-France region—a real advantage for daily life.
