The MBS Alumni Mentoring Program connects our Bachelor and Master students with experienced alumni, fostering professional growth, career development, and meaningful connections. Through this exclusive mentoring initiative, students gain firsthand insights into their chosen industries, receive career guidance, and build their professional networks with the support of MBS alumni worldwide.
The MBS Alumni Mentoring Program is designed to create meaningful mentor-mentee relationships that support students in their professional and personal development. We facilitate both in-person mentoring connections for students and alumni in Munich and virtual matches for mentors outside of Munich, ensuring that all participants have access to valuable mentorship, no matter their location.
While the program provides a clear framework—with a kickoff event, a midpoint check-in, and an online closing event—its true value lies in the students’ own initiative. Every mentoring relationship is unique, shaped by the goals the mentee sets for themselves and the relationship they build with their mentor.
Success depends on active participation from both mentors and mentees.
Together, they agree on meeting frequency, communication style, and focus areas — ensuring the mentorship meets the student’s needs while respecting the mentor’s time.
