About The University

Regent's University London is one of only around a dozen private universities in the United Kingdom. Its origins date back to 1984, when Rockford College in Illinois founded Regent's College in London's Regent's Park to offer its students a study abroad program with a clear British focus. In 2006, the college merged with other schools to form Regent's College London. Seven years later, the institution was granted university status and renamed Regent's University London.

Since its founding, Regent's University London has continuously expanded its commitment to excellent teaching and transformative learning. All bachelor's and master's programs – with a focus on business, creative arts, and social sciences – are characterized by a high degree of practical relevance and collaborative learning in small classes. The future-facing curricula are based on three elements (Subject Core, Special Electives, Common Modules), which enable students to build up specialist expertise, develop supplementary skills, and participate in live projects with industry and business. Through a constantly growing network of industry partners, they gain valuable experience and contacts during their studies, which facilitates a successful start to their international careers. Did you know that no other university in the UK has more entrepreneurs and founders than Regent's University London?

Another hallmark of Regent's University London is its family atmosphere, which puts students at the center and enables a tailored study experience with personal support. This open, supportive learning culture appeals particularly to many students from abroad: with an international student body of around 85%, you can expect a truly global study environment at Regent's.

The Campus of Regent's University London

The Regent's University London campus is located in the heart of the royal Regent's Park in central London. Surrounded by 11 hectares of private grounds with numerous gardens, the campus offers you a safe study oasis in one of Europe's most vibrant cities. When you study at Regent's University London, you are sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the big city, yet still right in the middle of it: Marylebone Boutique High Street, with its numerous shops, restaurants, and cafés, is just a few steps away.

Many of Regent's University London's buildings are historic, but don't be fooled by the traditional facades: inside, you'll find state-of-the-art learning spaces with first-class equipment. From creative studios and live trading rooms to an innovation lab, the university offers a wide range of opportunities to support learning, spark curiosity, and encourage collaboration.

To create a true home-away-from-home feeling, Regent's University London also has beautiful outdoor spaces, an inviting range of food and drinks, and a selection of complementary sports and wellness activities. How about a round of tennis after class, for example? Or would you prefer to watch a movie in the campus cinema? Followed by a drink in the student bar? At Regent's University London, none of this is a problem.

It is also possible to live on campus: the two student residences, Reid Hall and Oliver Flats, offer students a comfortable living environment in single or twin rooms, just a few steps away from the classrooms.

Living and Housing in London

London is one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the world – and is often described as Europe's most cosmopolitan hub. The British capital combines history, innovation, economic power, and culture in a vibrant, multicultural metropolis: over 300 different languages are spoken here, and around 40% of the population comes from abroad. According to the QS Best Student Cities Ranking 2024, London is one of the world's best cities for students. Here you will find first-class universities, a global community, countless museums and theaters, music festivals, international cuisine, lively neighborhoods, and a vibrant nightlife. At the same time, there are numerous green parks and quieter areas to relax in.

London offers you the perfect backdrop for studying, personal development, and new experiences. However, this great offer comes with a slight downside: living in London is expensive. Fortunately, Regent's University London has student accommodation both on and off campus. The Reid Hall and Oliver Flats residences on campus offer a mix of single and twin rooms with shared or private bathrooms. There is also a lobby and a communal kitchen. Depending on the room type, the cost for the 2026 academic year is between £6,150 and £8,700 per semester, including a meal allowance. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If the dorm rooms on campus are full, Regent's University London offers accommodation within about a 20-minute walk of the campus. If you prefer to live privately during your studies in London, you can expect weekly rents of £130 to £280 for shared flats and £200 to £600 for small apartments. Here, too, the rule is: be early and stay flexible!
