Our students always describe their semester abroad as the highlight of their studies. The International Center assists students to organize their studies abroad and offers many more services.
For the start into their professional careers, final-year students are given the opportunity to adapt application strategies to their individual situation and to develop perspectives for their career planning.
The MBS Career Center, among other things, supports them in one-to-one interviews helping them to optimize their course of study, to specify their career goals, and to develop strategies for achieving these goals.
"Digital Detox: Methods and Recommendations for a Healthy Use of Technologies" - Invitation to Book Presentation
On March 2, 2020 at 6:30 pm, Victoria Welledits, MBS Alumna, Prof. Dr. Christian Schmidkonz, MBS Academic Director, and Prof. Dr. Patricia Kraft, MBS Academic Director, will present their book "Digital Detox in Working Life: Methods and Recommendations for a Healthy Use of Technologies" at Munich Business School. The book explains how digitization is changing everyday life and working life: Laptops and smartphones enable constant accessibility, the boundaries between work and everyday life disappear, more flexible working time models are possible. At the same time, digitally triggered stress in the workplace is increasing. Digital overload limits productivity and can have negative health consequences. Digital Detox - the complete renunciation of electronic devices for a certain period of time - is gaining in importance.
Learn about methods for a healthy use of technologies and receive concrete recommendations within the framework of digital detox strategies. Get into conversation with the authors and exchange information about digital "behaviour" and your personal digital "breaks"!
The event will take place in English language.
