A central element of your Bachelor studies at MBS is the semester abroad at one of over 60 partner universities worldwide. No matter if you study in the English or Bilingual Track – you have the choice to study in our outside of Europe. Whether in the U.S., in China, Australia, France, or Mexico – for our students, such a stay always remains unforgettable. Spending a semester at an international university, you will expand intercultural competences and command of foreign languages and find friends for life. The Bachelor MORE (6 semesters) includes one semester abroad; by choosing the Bachelor GLOBAL (7 semesters), you have the opportunity to spend two terms abroad. As a rule, students will select the university according to their specific international focus or the made-to-measure study programs of our partner institutions. The International Center team offers support for finding the best suited university.
The MBS study programs are consistently oriented towards a practical approach. Therefore, at least three 10-week placements in companies both at home and abroad are part of the program. These highly intense practical phases offer excellent opportunities to get acquainted with various economic sectors and company cultures as well as to gain first work experience. What about an internship in trading or at a consulting firm? The MBS Career Center will advise you during the planning phase and will accompany you through the entire internship period.
The recently launched MBS Mentoring Program offers Career Mentoring and matches MBS alumni with at least two years of professional work experience with MBS students.
While mentees benefit from meeting representatives from a diverse range of careers helping them to identify and achieve their career goals and develop in confidence, mentors get the chance to enhance their coaching and leadership skills, to expand their professional network, and to help shaping the future of their profession and community.
Currently the Program is available for MA SBC students, and – depending on availability of alumni – as well for BA students in their 5th and 6th semester.
