BACHELOR International Business - Structure & Courses

Course of Studies

Its focused structure is what makes the BACHELOR International Business study program so unique. It comprises six or seven semesters completed by a Bachelor thesis. Three internships in Germany and abroad provide you with valuable professional insights. One or two semesters spent abroad ensure an expanded international horizon.

The first three semesters are dedicated to the basics of business administration, business management, marketing, economics and financial accounting, investing, and finance. Theory is rounded off by management simulation games, project work, EDP courses, and workshops dedicated to advancing your individual potential for success. You may choose from several international focuses and languages.

With little German language skills, you will participate in the focus "Germany and European Union (German)". Students with advanced German language skills and native speakers choose between Arabic, Chinese, Russian, French, or Spanish. Students who already have knowledge in the specific language can also select French or Spanish on an advanced level (min. A2). The fourth semester will be spent at an international partner university.

The fifth and sixth semesters schedule lectures on the characteristics of business administration. In this context, you choose two business concentrations. In the final semester, you will compile your Bachelor thesis in connection with an internship. If you start your studies in February, you will complete your semester abroad in the sixth semester.
